Tom Wardle is a brain educator bringing the latest findings in neuroscience to teachers, students, and parents nationwide.
Tom believes that neuroscience offers us important new ways of understanding ourselves and how we learn. His unique perspective draws on over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, tutor, and trainer of teachers and incorporates his extensive knowledge of neurobiology and development. His work is further informed by over 25 years of training in mindfulness and meditation practices.
In addition to his work in education, Tom has extensive leadership experience in the non-profit field as co-founder and the first Executive Director of FNE International, an international relief organization leading education, social development, and public health projects in Nicaragua and Peru. He earned his bachelor’s at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and an MBA from Hult International Business School. He is also an authorized Zen teacher and the co-leader of Empty Moon Zen.
